Diversified Communications (“Diversified”) organizer of Net Zero Forum & Renewable Energy Forum operated under the Smart Energy Decisions brand is pleased to welcome you as a presenter and / or moderator for its conference for members of the renewable energy industry known as the Net Zero Forum or Renewable Energy Forum.
COMMITMENT
By acknowledging this Agreement below, you are committing to undergo diligent preparation of educational materials that are likely to provide relevant information useful to buyers and sellers of clean energy products and services. Assuming Diversified approves your materials, you agree to deliver your presentation by way of a live in-person presentation at the Event, during the mutually agreed upon time and date.
In order to facilitate the approval process, you also agree to provide all the required materials by the due dates included in email or as later communicated to you separately in writing and shall include the following:
SESSION(S) MATERIALS AND BIO: In order to meet our promotional deadlines to publicize your Session on the Event website you must provide by review of this agreement.
a) Session Description which will include your overall topic and an outline of key matters your presentation will cover.
b) Presenter Bio including a 100- to 200-word biography with information on your background, qualifications and achievements. Please
note that curriculum vitae, resumes, or other similar documents may not be submitted as a substitution for this bio.

PRESENTATION MATERIALS
Your PowerPoint slide presentation must utilize the template provided by Diversified.
NOTE: Slides and handouts are made available to attendees via electronic files only. Hard copy slides or handouts will not be produced. Please contact Debra Chanil or Aly Ward with questions about your presentation materials.
APPROVALS
Diversified reserves the right to reject any materials submitted and reasonably require revisions and resubmission, if it determines such materials do not meet its requirements. Failure to provide materials satisfactory to Diversified by the communicated deadlines shall be cause for the cancellation of your Session, which Diversified will communicate to you promptly.
AUDIO VISUAL
Each Session meeting room is equipped with the following audiovisual equipment:
a) LCD Projector for PowerPoint presentation and screen
b) Standard Microphone(s) (wired lavalier or handheld) for each speaker
c) Podium
d) PC laptop
Event staff and an audiovisual technician will be available prior to your Session to assist in set up.
COPYRIGHTS/PERMISSIONS
You, as Presenter, acknowledge and agree that you have full rights to the materials used in fulfillment of your obligations in deliverance of the Session. If you are using copyrighted materials developed by others including your bio picture, charts, graphs, images, proprietary video or audiotaped material, written permission is required from the copyright holder for reproduction and use. This written permission must be obtained by you and submitted along with your presentation materials. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Diversified, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs and other expenses, incurred by Diversified on account of any act, omission, breach of this Agreement, or other activity conducted by Speaker in connection with this Agreement.
Release and Authorization
By your signature below you hereby grant Diversified the non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free and irrevocable right and license:
a) To use, copy, distribute, perform, record, publicly display, and create derivative works worldwide from your appearance, presentation, presentation handout, and other documents related to your appearance and presentation, in all forms, including written, audio, video, and other electronic media, whether now known or hereafter created, both tangible (e.g. on a flash drive) and intangible (including but not limited to posting to the Event website) to event attendees and for event purposes and for all other legal purposes.
b) To use your name, likeness, voice, and biographical and other information worldwide concerning you solely in connection with the distribution, performance, or public display of your presentation.
c) For avoidance of all doubt Presenter shall be free to utilize their presentation materials for all legal purposes both before and after their presentations.
Presenter Compensation
Diversified will provide to you the following consideration conditioned upon your delivery of all of the above noted Session(s). In the event that the Event is postponed or canceled or for any reason you are unable to complete all of your presentation obligations as set forth herein no compensation of any kind will be due and payable.
a) Promotion of your participation as a Presenter and/or your Company’s participation as a Sponsor at the Event.
b) One (1) complimentary pass for the day of your presentation (if you are not using one of the Sponsor company’s dedicated passes) to the Event granting access to all Event sessions keynotes, networking, and the exhibit hall (if any) except for the buyer-only session plus all food and beverages provided to other Event attendees.
I acknowledge that I have read this consent and release prior to signing it and that I understand its contents. I understand that Net Zero Forum is relying on this agreement and release and that my release and consent are irrevocable.
